The story

De Halve Maan brews in the middle of Bruges, run by the same family for six generations. In 2016, rather than send more lorries through the old town, they laid a three-kilometre beer pipeline under the medieval streets, the only one of its kind.

The Quadrupel is the heaviest of the house: dark, with dried fruit, caramel and a warm 11% finish. A beer to end the evening on, not to open it.
